great amenities but some room for improvement
The communal kitchen was a standout feature, making it easy to prepare snacks and meals. I enjoyed the beautiful pool area, which was a perfect spot to relax. The location is fantastic, with a large, wonderful park just a short walk away, offering a lovely setting for morning strolls and picnics.
The overall cleaning of the room could have been more thorough.

convenient access to parks and landmarks near central chisinau
During my stay, I loved how close I was to both Cathedral Park, which is less than a 5-minute walk away, and the National Museum of History of Moldova, just over a 2 km stroll, making my weekend explorations super enjoyable and easy.

Just an optimal selection for a budget stay in Chisinau with good value. The pool was a blessing on a hot day. Keep your cash handy for payment.

missingWrote a review on Nov 13friendly staffpayment confusionroom mismatch
The staff were friendly and responsive during my stay.
I faced several issues during my stay at Edem Hotel. Initially, I found that there was no information provided regarding the cash-only payment, which caught me off guard upon arrival. Additionally, the room I received did not match what I had booked, leading to an awkward split between beds. The communal bathroom arrangement was uncomfortable, especially as it had a nearly see-through door.

the entrance was a disaster to locate, especially at night, with minimal signage. i also couldn’t believe the audacity of not having a heated bathroom during my stay! you'd think they’d go above and beyond to make up for these absurdities, but no one offered me a complimentary gesture at all. honestly, i nearly gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

It was enjoyable staying in a cozy family atmosphere, with clean rooms and a nice garden to relax in. We took a short walk to the National History Museum, which was fascinating and great for all ages. The staff made our arrival easy, transporting our luggage.
My kids wished for extra amenities for families, like kid-friendly snacks and activities.
